One-gallon clear plastic freezer or storage bags are also permitted. Small clutch bags or wallets that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5 “, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the venue along with one of the clear bag options (clear tote or storage bag). Oversized bags (i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, laptop bags, etc.) are prohibited. Marking yet another career highlight, on March 20, 2013, Cedric was named the new host of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” joining the long-running iconic game show beginning its 12th season in national syndication. Cedric replaces Meredith Vieira, who launched the weekday version of the game show in 2002 and remained host for 11 seasons, through 2013.
Cedric’s universal appeal, versatility, and tremendous career successes spanning television, live performances, and film have solidified his standing as one of the premier entertainers in the world.
In July 2006, Cedric’s first-ever HBO Comedy Special, “Cedric The Entertainer: Taking You Higher”, was the highest rated special of that year for the network.
In November 2008, Cedric made his Broadway debut in David Mamet’s masterpiece “American Buffalo”…His performance was singled out for critical praise.
As for more big screen credits, in 2012 Cedric revisited his co-starring role in the DreamWorks Animation box office winner MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’s MOST WANTED. As a regular cast member of the mega-hit franchise, he once again lent his voice as “Maurice (the lemur)”. During that year, Cedric also starred along with JASON BIGGS in the political drama “GRASS ROOTS” directed by Steven Gyllenhaal ; as well as made a fun brief featured appearance with Christina Ricci in the romantic comedy “ALL’s FAIRE IN LOVE: Romance Has a Renaissance”.
Later that same year, in June 2012, Cedric’s new comedy series “The Soul Man” debuted. It is a spin-off of “Hot in Cleveland” based on the funny quirky character “Reverend Boyce ‘The Voice’ Ballentine” a former R & B music star turned minister that Cedric portrayed on the hit “Hot” series. Popular comedic actress Niecy Nash shares the spotlight on the new sitcom co-starring as his wife “Lolli”. “The Soul Man” is created by Cedric and Suzanne Martin (“Hot in Cleveland”). The show is currently celebrating its third season. Tagline: “He goes from Singing Soul to Saving Souls” (airs Wednesdays 10:30pmET/PT on TV Land).
Some notable career accolades for the multi-talented funny man include: nabbing THE AFTRA AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN TELEVISION PROGRAMMING for his Fox Television series “CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER PRESENTS…”; a record-breaking (4) consecutive NAACP Image Awards for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” for his portrayal of the lovable “Coach Cedric Robinson” on the WB’s #1-rated “The Steve Harvey Show”, which ran for six seasons. His first comedy book, Grown-As Man, was released in January of 2002 and sold out across the country. In 2001, a viewing audience of over 144 million saw Cedric star in the Bud Light commercial that landed in the #1 spot during the Super Bowl broadcast(subsequently, USA Today dubbed him “Madison Avenue’s Most Valuable Player”). And, in 1994, Cedric received THE RICHARD PRYOR COMIC OF THE YEAR AWARD from Black Entertainment Television for his ground-breaking work as host of Def Comedy Jam and BET’s Comic View (1994-95)
Now helming his own production company, A BIRD AND A BEAR ENTERTAINMENT, Cedric develops and produces feature films (“Johnson Family Vacation” was the first under the banner). In 2009, he made his directorial debut overseeing the dance-film spoof “Dance Fu” starring rising comic actor Kel Mitchell released on DVD October 4, 2011.
The 2011 launch of his WHOCed designer hat line marks yet another facet of the busy and creative comedy star.
As a philanthropist, Cedric founded THE CEDRIC ‘THE ENTERTAINER CHARITABLE FOUNDATION which provides college scholarships and outreach programs to enhance the lives of inner-city youth and their families in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri. Cedric has awarded over 200 scholarships and countless incentives through his foundation. He plans to extend the organization nationally.

The Kansas native got his big break after scoring a role in the 1993 film, The Meteor Man. Since then, Griffin has appeared in other hit films such as Scary Movie 3 and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. Eddie Griffin also starred opposite Malcolm-Jamal Warner in the buddy comedy-show Malcolm & Eddie, which lasted for four seasons. George Lopez: TV's self-proclaimed "America's Mexican", has made headlines and history with his groundbreaking stand-up comedy and late night show. George Lopez tour dates are currently scheduled nationally throughout spring and summer, 2011.
George Lopez got his start on the comedy circuit where he regularly satirizes American politics, race relations, pop-culture, and everyday life. Lopez made history as a radio show host, becoming the first Latino to headline a morning radio-show on an English language LA station. After gaining attention in LaLa land, Lopez was approached by Sandra Bullock to star in his own sitcom. Bullock was impressed with his stand-up and saw a lack of latino-inspired television shows on network TV. ABC picked up the George Lopez pilot and he made history and broke down barriers with the everyday comedic challenges that he and his family faced.
Although the show was never a top rated sitcom, it proved that it had longevity and currently does well in syndication. The show is one of Nick at Nite's top draws and continues to be shown around the world. Following the cancellation of the show in 2007, Lopez was cast as the Mayor of Reno on the hit Comedy Central show "Reno 911" in 2008. Lopez also starred in the hit 2010 film "The Spy Next Door" with Jackie Chan. In addition to his film and TV roles, Lopez has authored an auto-biography entitled "Why You Crying", and he has hosted the Latin Grammy Awards and the Emmy Awards.
George Lopez currently hosts his own late-night talk show on TBS entitled Lopez Tonight. Lopez made history by becoming the first Mexican-American to host a late night talk show on an English language network in the United States. His hit show has logged year-over-year increases in viewership and the comedian doesn't have any plans of hanging up his microphone just yet. D.L. Hughley: Darryl Lynn “D.L.” Hughley is an actor, political commentator and stand-up comedian whose career has spanned over two decades. From humble beginnings in South Central Los Angeles, to a successful TV and movie career, to being interviewed as a key voice on race and politics for news network MSNBC. This man does it all.
Hughley grew up in L.A.'s South Central where he was a member of the Bloods after getting kicked out of high school. However, he turned his life around after the death of his cousin, who was shot in a gang-related disagreement. He quit the gang and got a job as a telemarketer for the Los Angeles Times, soon moving up into management where he met his wife-to-be, Ladonna. It was her influence that convinced him to try his humor on stage. After years of club dates, he was selected by BET as the first host of ComicView, gaining him industry-wide recognition. In 1998, he landed his own sitcom, The Hughleys,/i>, which featured his own screenwriting, directing, and acting skills. During these years, he was also featured in Spike Lee’s 2000 film The Original Kings of Comedy, which documented four comedians on the Kings of Comedy tour.
